FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Straight answers before you start.

The practical details about plans, limits, records, privacy and support.

01

Is Tally Badger free?

Yes. Starter is genuinely free and does not require a Stripe customer, subscription or £0 price.

02

What are the Starter limits?

Starter includes up to 10 issued invoices and 25 issued quotes per month, with one business. Drafts and edits to existing drafts do not use the monthly allowance.

03

Can I create and send quotes?

Yes. You can prepare professional quotes and keep them connected to the relevant customer and work.

04

Can I turn a quote into an invoice?

Yes. Tally Badger is designed to keep agreed work connected as it moves from quote to invoice.

05

Can I record expenses?

Yes. You can record supplier costs, expense details and supporting records in the same business workspace.

06

Does Tally Badger support VAT reporting?

VAT reporting is available on Business and Business Pro. It is not included with Starter.

07

Can I use my own logo?

Business and Business Pro support your own branding. Starter does not include a custom logo and carries Tally Badger attribution.

08

Can my accountant access the information?

Tally Badger supports accountant collaboration so authorised people can work from organised business information rather than disconnected spreadsheets and documents.

09

Can I manage more than one business?

Starter and Business support one business. Business Pro supports up to five. If you need more than five, contact us.

10

What happens when I reach a monthly limit?

Only new quota-consuming issuance is blocked until the next monthly period or an upgrade. You can still view history, edit where permitted, export PDFs, record payments and access customers and suppliers.

11

Do I need accounting knowledge?

Tally Badger uses practical language and clear workflows, but it does not replace advice from an accountant, tax adviser or lawyer.

12

How is my information handled?

The privacy notice explains the information used by the service, why it is needed, retention considerations and the rights that may apply.

13

Who is behind Tally Badger?

Tally Badger is a product of OK4UK Ltd, built and operated by STR8.one, the technology arm of the OK4UK Ecosystem.

14

How do I get support?

Use an available Tally Badger contact route and include only the information needed to understand the issue. Never send passwords, authentication codes or payment-card details.

15

Can I cancel a paid plan?

The final cancellation process and related commercial terms are not yet published. They will be stated clearly before the public service is released.

16

What happens if I downgrade?

Existing financial history is not deleted, hidden or invalidated. Lower-plan limits apply only to future quota-consuming actions; if the current allowance is already exceeded, new issuance pauses until the next period or an upgrade.
